Nicola-Millard Dr Nicola Millard, Principal Innovation Partner, BT

In her long and varied career at BT Nicola has done many jobs, including futurology, research, usability, customer service, marketing, and business consulting. She was involved with some BT firsts, including the application of artificial intelligence into BT’s call centres, BT’s experiments with home working, and helping to develop BT’s “net easy” customer score.


She is an award-winning presenter, with 2 TEDx talks and hundreds of conference panel, chair and keynote sessions under her belt. She occasionally pops up on radio and TV around the world, including appearances on ‘Woman’s Hour’, ‘Tech Tent’, ‘The Media Show’, ‘The Genius of Invention’ and ‘Back in Time for the Weekend’ for the BBC.
Steve BlackshawSteve Blackshaw, All-IP Programme Director, BT

Steve Blackshaw manages the All IP Programme for BT Enterprise, shaping, selling and delivering our most complex IP services across the enterprise market to drive legacy migrations.

Formerly a Director of Services & Consulting Portfolio with Nokia and previously a consultant for Alcatel-Lucent and Fujitsu, with over 25 years services experience, and 18 years related directly to the telecoms sector.

Steve has a wide experience gained within UK, European and Global Multinational customers, having helped major telecoms companies transform to IP networks. Steve has structured and delivered on the largest IP Transformation programmes across the world, and brings a unique global perspective in moving to Digital Britain.

Gareth Bleasdale-sqGareth Bleasdale, Senior Manager - Modern Work, Microsoft

Gareth is a Senior Manager in Microsoft's Modern Work practice, with specific accountability for Converged Communications within the UK.

Gareth has over a decade of experience in the Telecoms & IT industries, across an array of telephony and collaboration platforms. He is passionate about seeing customers and partners benefit from the transformational changes afforded by the twin pillars of AI and Flexible Working.

Andrew Wilson-sq-1Andrew Wilson, Sales Director - Business, CityFibre

Andrew Wilson took up this key post with CityFibre in September 2019. He is responsible for directing and managing the company’s day-to-day business wholesale division and shaping its channel partner go-to-market strategy.

With more than two decades of experience working in partner-facing roles and senior management positions, Andrew is a well-known and highly respected figure in the IT and comms channel. He has strong and proven leadership skills and insight into key markets and technologies, which he is using to positive effect at CityFibre in spearheading the continued development of the company’s partner relationships and business division.
